PartyLite Global Platform

PartyLite, a leading home fragrance company, needed a robust multi-market ecommerce platform to support their direct sales business model across multiple European countries.

The Challenge

PartyLite operates with a unique business model involving independent consultants who sell products directly to consumers. The platform needed to support multiple countries with different currencies and tax regulations, manage consultant hierarchies and commissions, handle both B2B and B2C transactions, and provide real-time inventory across all markets.

Our Solution

We built a comprehensive solution that addressed the complexity of PartyLite’s multi-market, multi-tier business model.

Multi-Market Architecture

We built a single Magento 2 instance that serves 8 different countries, each with its own storefront, pricing, tax rules, and localized content. The architecture allows for centralized management while providing complete flexibility for regional customization.

Consultant Management System

Developed a custom module for managing consultant accounts, tracking sales hierarchies across multiple levels, and calculating commissions automatically based on configurable rules. The system integrates with PartyLite’s existing consultant management tools.

Advanced Inventory Management

Implemented a centralized inventory system that syncs in real-time across all markets using RabbitMQ message queues, preventing overselling and optimizing stock distribution based on regional demand patterns.

Performance at Scale

Used Varnish caching and CloudFlare CDN to ensure fast page loads across all European markets, with average response times under 500ms even during peak traffic periods.

Results

The platform transformed PartyLite’s digital presence with successful operation in 8 countries, 42% increase in overall revenue, 120% growth in B2B consultant orders, and support for over 5,000 active consultants.
